I would buy anything for my dog and since it has been so hot in southern california I decided to buy it. Well, I did give this product the benefit of the doubt multiple times but in the end I was just fooling myself. It wasn't even cold to the touch. It was messy, heavy, and doesn't do what it says it does. Cool my dog. She would much prefer to lay on the wood floor since it is cooler than the coolbed iii. It should just be called a water bed for dogs. It is great cushion for her though. I'm contemplating if we should fork out the money to return it. The return policy isn't all that great. Bummer. I think I'll look into a electrical cooling bed for her next. very disappointed.

The Cool Bed has worked great as a cool compress after my pet had surgery. My dog would not tolerate the recommended use of ice packs to assist in reducing swelling from surgery. The Cool Bed does the cool compress for me!

This was the best thing I did to bring comfort to my poor cat who was suffering from kidney failure. It worked great and once she discovered what it was and what it did she was on it constantly. I inserted it between the egg crate and fleece of her bed and it worked great there.

This was installed into bedding into a dog house built for our three miniature dachsunds and they all huddle up in it and stay quite warm all year round. When it gets really cold I plug in an oil filled electric heater into the little "closet" I made for them but I built the dog house right by the water heater so the dogs get residual heat from one section of that which I pulled the insulation blanket away from. The thermometer I put next to their "living quarters" never gets below 45 even when it is -40 outside. Pretty sweet when you can keep minature dachsunds safely in the garage/basement in the worst of Western Wisconsins winters. This product feels nice and warm to the touch of the hand and the dogs sure are drawn to it. This is its first winter so how long it lasts we shall still see.

I never even knew that there were so many choices out there! Our cat loves it and sleeps on it all of the time. Just make sure that the blanket that you cover it with is thin enough for all of the heat to come through.

I have bought 4 Breezy Bunks and in a short time they just fall flat on the floor. My dogs are small Beagles and I got the large beds , so I know it is not the weight.I love them while it last, but the elevated bed is not elevated for long. Does anyone know how to repair them?
