We have been Coolaroo bed fans for years, and it is great to be able to replace the covers. They hold up so well outside that we have indoor and outdoor beds for the dogs. ~ Unfortunately they are not puppy "chew proof". This is the only reason we had to replace the covers.

This is a great item for the pup who likes to lounge AND stay cool. The Coolaroo hammock pet bed gives great pressure point-free comfort for my 105 pound lab and the heavy duty mesh fabric allows great air circulation to keep him cool. Aids in drying your freshly washed dog quicker due to the ventilation the bed provides. I have found the replacable mesh fabric lasts about 2 years before a need for replacement.

This is my second Molly Mutt cover and my last. For some reason this one was not as well put together as the first. While I know my dog has some sharp teeth this cover did not last as long as the first one. The material seemed thinner and when he was trying to drag it across the floor it ripped immediately while the first one was able to withstand much more dragging around.

I have a lab that is a chewer and one that is not. He sleeps in a crate because he's younger and will get into mischief and she gets to sleep on a doggie bed. Well, one day Mr. Mischief decided to chew on the corner on her bed. One side had a layer of that lambs wool and he apparently likes to chew that. Got this Molly Mutt bedcover and stuffed the old bed in it. The material is like a canvas and so far he's not interested in chewing it - whew! She gets to have her bed back and we have even caught him laying on it when he was out of his crate. This was a much better option than having to buy another bed. They are about 80lb labs - this cover was plenty big to accommodate their old bed.

The cover was great, and fit the bed properly. Until we washed it. After a trip through the washing machine (on the cold gentle cycle) and the dryer (again on gentle) it shrank enough that it doesn't fit the bed properly anymore.

Don't waste your money. The material is thin and cheap, and I'd have to say a kid in a Junior High home economics class would need to do better making something like this or be faced with a very disappointing grade. The product description unfortunately isn't lying, only because these are obviously the only covers produced for the Cool Bed 3.

I was very disappointed how flimsy the cover is. "Did I pay $12 (size M) for this?" came to my mind immediately. I can make a better cover. I understand the cover needs to be somewhat thin. But this is see through thin. Please see "customer image". Any young dog will destroy it in a day. I can wrap the bed with old pillow case perhaps? I will return it. TG it was a free shipping deal.
