We were a bit concerned with whether or not this bed would be large enough for our puppy, but the donut bed fits our five month old boxer (who is about 18'' shoulder height and 34 pounds) with room to spare! It seems to be well made, its shape allows our puppy to curl up and easily snuggle into it. It looks like it will continue to fit her even when she is full grown.

I bought this from a local pet store in Manhattan for $90 so I was happy to have to only pay $65 on Amazon for starters. I bought this for one of my cats as the local pet store didnt have the cat one. I later ordered the cat one but neither of my cats will get in the tiny cubby of a hole. They both fight over this dog bed. So I would agree with one of the other reviewers that this is ideal for cats. My other bed is dark brown and gets covered with hair, but I am just used to a life with everything covered in hair - I dont see why this should be any different. If it was I think I would start a line of very expensive house wares and clothes for pet owners. Anyway - all in all great bed. I would recommend.

I own a Kennel in the UK and have tried many dog beds over the last 20 years. I have never seen a bed that stays as clean as this one. No odor either. I have had these beds now for two years and they still look brand new. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a dog that likes to get dirty. Don't use fabric softner or bleach when washing. Put into a hot dryer.

I bought this for my dogs for xmas, and its their new favorite bed. I purchased only one b/c its a lot of $ for a dog bed, but now my two dogs vie for access. We may have to buy another one. Whenever its close to bed-time, we always find one dog claiming the bed before the other gets the chance and has to settle for the boring flat dog bed. They have it so rough.

Our largest dog is about 60lbs and she easily fits in this bed. Our other dog is about 30lbs, and they've both tried to fit in it at the same time, but it was a bit snug. Great bed!

I bought this bed for my dog, who is a 70-pound lab...She LOVES it! She slept in it the first night I got it, and sleeps in it pretty much every day. The size is perfect for her. I ordered the Sherpa bed, but got the regular bed instead, but my dog still loves it, so I didn't return it. I'm going to get a second bed to keep downstairs too!

I have two sweet LARGE dobermans...very mouthy...and you cannot believe how much money i have spent on dog beds...only to have them shredded in days. But i thought i'd take a chance on this donut pet bed i read about on "DOOCE" blog...and omg...it is GREAT!!! Both my large 95lb male and 75# female love this bed...very "nest like" and for some reason...neither one has chewed or mouthed it to shreds. I DEFINATELY reccomend this dog bed ....i may in fact buy "a spare".
