I am a bit suprised in all of the reviews that complain about the lack of adequate filling inside this bed. Apparently they read all of the Amazon reviews after purchasing. Because yes indeed, the mattress filling inside the bed is not very thick...especially after my 90 pound Golden slept on it for a few nights.

But as I had read the reviews prior to purchasing, I was expecting this. I purchsed a twin Convoluted Foam Mattress Pad at W.M for $9. Once folded in half, the 32 X 72 pad fits very nicely inside the outer case. Once placed under the original mattress insert, this addtional padding keeps my dog very comfortable, and holds up quite well.

Fast shipping and well packaged from Amazon.

I highly recommend this dog bed.

Was disappointed in the amount of padding in this dog bed. I bought it for our disabled German Shepherd and needed to buy some foam padding to insert inside. Like the fact that I can unzip it to wash it, though.

I have a big yellow lab. He weighs about 90 pounds. I bought it because it was the only bed that was big enough to fit my dog on. I read the reviews and they said that there was too little filling. That didn't bother me much because one review said that one side opens. That's right! One side of the bed opens with strong Velcro. The package comes with a packed filling and it takes some time to fluff up. If you want a lot of filling you can just open the side and stuff some in. It will cost more to buy a bed with more filling, but you can just go out and buy some filling for a little money. It took some time to deliver but it was worth the wait and the money. This is a good bed for your big dog.

A bolt sheered off after only a few days. Amazon gave me a hassle about returning. I eventually just threw it away. Spent WAY too much money for this piece of junk. Coolaroo is a much better product and MUCH cheaper.

My Great Pyr is 5 years old and I was looking for something that would give her body some additional comfort. She seems to really like this new bed although half the time she is hanging part way off of it mostly due to the fact she has to share it with a very pushy little West Highland White Terrier. My "gentle giant" deserves a good place to rest. Also, she sheds a "LOT" of hair and this bed cleans up pretty well. It was a good purchase for both big and small dogs. Shipped very quickly.
