Based on the Amazon.com photos, I knew that this bed would be super comfy for our medium sized Vizsla.
To the touch it's very soft and inviting. I especially like the elevated, rounded edges for our pup to rest her head on.

A bonus to this already good buy is the fact that it perfectly fits into the Midwest 42x28x31 Life Stages Double Door Crate.
So, you can use it as a bed alone or you can slide it onto the floor of the crate and make it so much more inviting and cozy.

Overall - I'm very pleased with this purchase and waiting for the human size edition ;)

My two dogs, a golden retriever and a black lab mix, love these pet beds. They were using two ugly sofa cushions that I finally decided had to go. It did not take long for my dogs to become attached to the beds and it is rare that a moment goes by without one using them. The 42x26 size is large enough for them to lay flat without hanging out.

This was a Christmas gift for our Maltese. He seems quite happy with his new bed which is in the kitchen near my desk and computer where he lies now sleeping and dreaming. Ben's bed is very well made. The pillow is reversable - a fleece side and a smooth or summer? side. He is an over-weight 15lbs and the medium size is just right for him. I thought the price was very reasonable. I don't believe I could have found a better value locally. So thanks again, Amazon.

The bed is very thin in the center...where the dog lies, but at least it keeps him off the cold tile. The edges are raised a little which gives him somewhere to put his head. The small is JUST BIG ENOUGH to hold a 9 pound pomeranian.

Overall, for the price, it works well. Only problem is that Walgreens was having a sale on pet beds and had beds that were much bigger, fluffier and nicer for $10.
