Just a little disappointed with this one. Another review said..."pillow, what pillow?" and they were right! It was a nice sized pet bed but the pillow was flat as a fritter! I was excited to find this bed. My Westie (12lbs) loves to sleep under the covers and burrow. The quality was very good but the fabric on top was too small. He could not burrow in the bed because the fabric wouldn't even cover his head. I returned the item disappointed.

i bought this for my boston terrier as we tried to move him off our bed and into his own space. he's a bit on the small size and weighs only about 12lbs. this bed is the perfect size for him. he was crying every night when we tried to get him sleep off our bed. then we got this bed and he LOVED it right away. the lining on the inside is very soft and comfy, and having that cover really helps as i know he gets cold at night. it's also easy to clean as the cover comes off easily for washing. now he goes to this bed by himself when it's bed time and sleeps through the night just fine. maybe it's just my dog, but if i can just teach him how to get under the cover by himself that would be perfect as the top is soft and not stiff as shown in the picture so sometimes he can't get under the cover by himself.

I would buy anything for my dog and since it has been so hot in southern california I decided to buy it. Well, I did give this product the benefit of the doubt multiple times but in the end I was just fooling myself. It wasn't even cold to the touch. It was messy, heavy, and doesn't do what it says it does. Cool my dog. She would much prefer to lay on the wood floor since it is cooler than the coolbed iii. It should just be called a water bed for dogs. It is great cushion for her though. I'm contemplating if we should fork out the money to return it. The return policy isn't all that great. Bummer. I think I'll look into a electrical cooling bed for her next. very disappointed.

The Cool Bed has worked great as a cool compress after my pet had surgery. My dog would not tolerate the recommended use of ice packs to assist in reducing swelling from surgery. The Cool Bed does the cool compress for me!
