I purchased this pet bed in round, small two years ago and it has held up for a very long time, has endured many washings, was well padded, and my dog loved it. I recently purchased the rectangular one in small and it was not well cushioned as some of the other reviewers indicated. My dog also did not seem to like it as much as the old one. The pillow inside also fell completely apart on the very first washing! Clearly the quality of this bed has declined significantly. I would strongly encourage others to not purchase this bed!

This is the worst dog bed I have ever seen. The cover is okay, a little scratchy and my dog doesn't like it, but it seems to be constructed well and does come off easily for washing. The pad inside is ridiculous! It comes in a tiny box and it is vacuum packed. The directions say it will "fluff" back up, but it didn't. It is not much better than sleeping in the floor and definitely not worth spending money on. We finally took a regular bed pillow and put it the case with the provided filler and it at least puffed it up a bit, but the dog still hates it and we finally moved it to the garage. I am very disappointed with Coleman.

This bed is fabulous. Give it little time though. Our doxie did not use it for at least 3 or 4 days - I was very disappointed. I pushed cheese to the back of the bed so that she would get in it. After about 4 days - she uses it all the time - she loves it. If your pet likes to sleep "covered up" - then this is the one.

This is the third burrow bed of this type in 11 years for my 9 lb. mini dachshund Heidi. She loves her bed and will be found snuggled under the cover any time she is not in one of our laps. We had great success with the other two which lasted about 5 years each. The only problem with the beds has been a lack of enough stuffing in the pillow. I purchased a small bag of batting for the first one and then used stuffing from the previous bed to fill the second and this new one. Adding stuffing is no problem as there are zippers on both the bed and pillow. The beds also held up well to repeated washing. Be sure you remove the pillow containing the batting before washing. I usually put the pillow outside in the sun for several hours while the cover dries and have never had a problem with doggy odor.

We were a bit concerned with whether or not this bed would be large enough for our puppy, but the donut bed fits our five month old boxer (who is about 18'' shoulder height and 34 pounds) with room to spare! It seems to be well made, its shape allows our puppy to curl up and easily snuggle into it. It looks like it will continue to fit her even when she is full grown.
